From 2008 to 2012 Crown Point High School: Became the first ACT College Acceleration Research High School in the Country (for the creative and powerful use of college and workforce readiness data). Developed Innovations in dual credit with Purdue University Calumet & Indiana University Northwest that were featured in Ed Week and earned CPHS the Indiana Spotlight on Learning Award. Earned Exemplary School Status, "A" school rating, and Four Star school designations for the first time. Earned recognition from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for linking programming to the needs of the regional workforce.
