Debra Chrapty holds years of experience in managing global growth and scaling companies in the enterprise and consumer sectors.
Prior to Declara, Debra was CEO of Nirvanix, an enterprise storage company. For two years, she served as the CIO of Zynga where she scaled the technology platform to support millions of users; oversaw the security and compliance teams; and led the company’s cloud migration.
Debra was senior vice president of the Collaboration Software Group at Cisco where she advanced the company’s cloud and SaaS capabilities globally and integrated multiple acquisitions to create a single multi-billion division. Previously, she held the role of corporate vice president for Global Foundation Services at Microsoft where she oversaw the development and execution of the company’s operation infrastructure and global data centers.
During her career, Debra served as senior vice president for Organic; president and COO of All Business; and president and COO of E*TRADE Technologies. In addition, she was CTO of The National Basketball Association and has held positions at Bertelsmann, EMI Records and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Debra has received numerous professional honors and has served as an advisor to organizations including NASA, Sun Microsystems, The Nature Conservatory and Society of Women Engineers.
Chrapaty holds an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Temple University.
