Notes Mr. Jerry J. Jasinowski, of Washington, D.C., has served as President of the National Association of Manufacturers since 1990. Previously, he served for ten years as the Association's Executive Vice President and Chief Economist. Mr. Jasinowski served as Assistant Secretary for Policy at the Department of Commerce during the Carter Administration. He serves on the board of directors for Phoenix Home Life and Harsco Corporation. In 1997, he was awarded the Anti-Defamation League's Person of the Year Award for his leadership role in advancing more inclusive policies for the workforce, including immigration. Mr. Jasinowski received a B.A. degree from Indiana University, a M.A. degree from Columbia University, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
