With this grant, EdLeader21 will work to spread commitments to deeper learning, assessments of deeper learning, and understanding of deeper learning leadership, as well as take steps to diversify its district membership. Through these processes, EdLeader21 will develop effective teaching and leadership tools that are designed for testing theories of diffusion. The grantee will work with educational organizations and school districts to spread a student-centered accountability program, which includes accountability and improvement guidelines and tools, a review process to identify innovative practices, and a school superintendent-led community focused on improvement across a network of schools.
