OVERVIEW
Digital Promise (the National Center for Research in Advanced Information and Digital Technology) is a nonprofit that supports schools and districts in developing classrooms that address existing inequities in our education system. With this grant, Digital Promise will work with districts in its League of Innovative Schools to close the digital learning gap. To pursue this goal, it will implement OER, which contributes to student ownership of learning and teacher ownership of curricula, and Challenge Based Learning, in which students solve classroom- and community-based problems and take action on meaningful local and global challenges. |
