Notes Scott Jones’ career in commercial banking spanned thirty-five years where he held various positions including serving as CEO of Signal Financial Services, a $1.2 billion bank holding company. During that time he served as president of the American Bankers Association from 1998-1999. He also served on the Federal Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, DC from 1999-2001. Since retiring from banking in 2002 he has focused his energies in the area of philanthropy, most recently serving as chair of the Minnesota Community Foundation and The Saint Paul Foundation from 2009-2010. He has served on several other non-profit boards as well. Scott has served on the Jones Family Foundation board since 1988.
