Biography
Nicholas Almeida has over 15 years of experience working across the social and public sectors to support sustainable impact efforts. His experience includes working with social entrepreneurs and impact investors to create, refine, and scale social innovations in the areas of poverty alleviation, education, health, workforce development, water resources, and renewable energy.
Nicholas is a Co-Founder of Sidecar Social Finance (SSF)–a social impact agency providing impact-investing advisory and capital services to individuals, institutions, and social enterprises. Prior to SSF, Nicholas led new strategic initiatives and impact investing at a philanthropic foundation and held leadership roles in public finance, program evaluation, and government. Nicholas has served on nonprofit boards, advised social entrepreneurs, and mentored social enterprise students at the Stanford Business School and UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
