The Road Map Project needed a better way to track academic success outcomes for 150k+ students in the Greater Seattle Area. I led the planning and implementation of a virtualized SQL Server installation to store and analyze millions of anonymized student records from 25+ data sources. Working closely with the organization's data team, I evaluated various off-the-shelf solutions, designed the system architecture, developed the data model, created design norms, and managed a contractor to create complex ETL functions. Along the way, I helped the organization strengthen system security, setup a remote secondary office location, and improve the overall information management among the staff. See less |
