Notes Eduardo Rallo Managing Partner, Pacific Community Ventures, LLC Eduardo RalloEduardo Rallo is managing partner of Pacific Community Ventures, a community-focused venture capital fund. He serves on the boards of several PCV portfolio companies including Pacific Pharmacy Group, Evergreen Lodge and New Leaf Paper. Pacific Community Ventures invests capital in small businesses that can drive strong financial returns while building quality jobs in the United States. Eduardo is also chairman and co-founder of Resmex Group, which manages several restaurant concepts in the Bay Area, and co-founder of Farmacias Remedios, a pharmacy chain focused on the Hispanic market. Prior to PCM, Eduardo in 1994 co-founded World Wrapps Restaurants, a Nation's Restaurant News Hot Concept Winner. He oversaw the growth of the company to a 26-store chain of innovative, gourmet, quick-service restaurants. In 1999, Mr. Rallo co-founded and served as managing director of BrainStorm Ventures, a seed capital and early stage investment fund that has invested in 24 companies in the e-commerce and software sectors, including Opentable.com, Zappos.com, which has since been sold to Amazon, and Me.com, which was sold to Apple. Eduardo serves on the nonprofit board of Universal Giving. He received his MBA from Harvard University in 1993 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, where he served as an alumni board member for eight years.
