"I became a full-time Ruth Institute staff member in 2010. In addition to being responsible for all aspects of the the organization's accounting needs, including monthly financial statement preparation, payroll compliance, 1099 compliance and sales tax compliance, I lead donor development mailing campaigns and other content activities to promote the organization's objectives. I also work with outside legal and accounting professionals. For example, I am responsible for creating the financial reports used in preparing the annual 990, and I help our outside attorney with state charitable registration compliance issues. I have been the Treasurer for the Institute since 2013. I supervise one employee, whom I also trained to use QuickBooks." |
