KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Led an incoming administration’s efforts to change the way elected officials combat land and recording fraud. Authored a state law that created a new and unique judicial process to invalidate fraudulent land records and secured the passage of more than five new anti-fraud laws and ordinances. Over 100 homes have been saved by this campaign.
• Oversaw an 18-month effort to allow the agency to accept property deeds and conveyance instruments by electronic and paperless means, resulting in a doubling of the number of documents processed electronically from 185,000 to over 350,000 per year.
• Transformed CCRD’s existing website into an informational hub, more than tripling the number of daily visitors from 8,000 to over 25,000, with over 15 million visits since inception.
• Positioning the CCRD as a national leader in the exploration of the new technologies of blockchain and distributed ledgers, resulting in favorable press across the world.
