I am responsible for directing and developing all aspects of mySociety's research activities, including managing research relationships with our external partners, designing and conducting new international research projects, managing the research team, providing consultancy research services, publishing original research in policy and peer-reviewed formats, and developing new ways to understand and measure our real-world impact. I established the internationally prominent TICTeC conference in 2015 to bring together academics, digital democracy practitioners and tech giants to talk openly about the impacts of civic technologies, and this has now grown into a significant annual event for the industry. I am frequently invited to participate and provide speeches in international events as a leader in the field of civic tech and citizen engagement. |
