Patrick Bergemann
Patrick Bergemann is an Assistant Professor of Organizations and Strategy at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He studies the ways in which institutions interact with informal networks to influence behavior in unexpected ways. In particular, he examines the incidence of wrongdoing within organizations and polities, and what leads individuals to report such behavior to the authorities. His research has been published in the American Journal of Sociology and the American Sociological Review.
Prior to joining Booth, Patrick was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Columbia Business School in New York City. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. in Sociology from Stanford University. |
