Race to the Top Strategic Plan for RI
Each state was provided resources to support the conceptualization and development of competitive Race to the Top (RTTT) federal funding applications. States across the country were able to submit applications for large scale grants that will accelerate initiatives to dramatically improve student outcomes along four assurance areas: data systems, teacher effectiveness, standards, and turnaround schools. RTTT is a four billion dollar competitive federal funding process in which only a small number of states were selected. |
