As senior vice president and manager of Raymond James’ Fixed Income Department, Van Sayler is responsible for the firm’s municipal and taxable fixed income business. He joined Raymond James in 1986 as manager of the Public Finance Department and began serving in his current role in 1992. Prior to joining Raymond James, Van was first vice president of public finance for William R. Hough & Company. He spent 15 years in public finance, working on transactions ranging from water and sewer facilities to health care and housing. Van graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He earned an MBA, specializing in finance, from the University of South Florida in 1981.
