Fernando A Amandi

Mr. Fernando Amandi has over 35 years experience in senior executive and general management positions with four U.S. multinational companies (Citigroup, Motorola, American Express, and Sears Roebuck) with United States and worldwide responsibilities. He is the former Chief Operating Officer for Citibank Consumer Bank International in Latin America, President of Motorola International Network Ventures based in London, England and Senior Vice President and General Manager of the American Express Consumer Financial Services Division in Latin America. With a corporate background that includes vast experience and knowledge in the areas of banking, telecommunications, financial services, credit cards, retail, travel and tourism, Mr. Amandi has initiated and led a wide variety of global businesses, operating divisions and joint venture companies. At present, he is the President of Fanta Real Estate Investments, LLC, based in Coral Gables, Florida. Mr. Amandi attended the University of Miami majoring in Economics, with Graduate Senior Management studies at Columbia University. He served honorably in the U.S. Army Reserves of the Florida National Guard as a Non-Commissioned Officer for 6 years. He is a current Member of President Obama’s National Hispanic Council.
