Mark Desaulnier

US Representative for California's 11th district. Having previously held political office at the state and local level and was elected to the US Congress in 2014. DeSaulnier was a small business owner who operated several restaurants in the greater Bay Area, before taking office in the California State legislature in 2006. He previously worked as a truck driver, hotel services employee and probation officer; he was a member of both the Teamsters and Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union.
