Douglas M Hagerman

Hagerman previously served as a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Foley & Lardner LLP and also as co-chair of the Securities Litigation, Enforcement & Regulation Practice Group. He represented litigants in all types of securities disputes. He is experienced in providing counsel on corporate governance matters such as audit committee practices, financial reporting processes, codes of ethics and compliance measures, and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Securities & Exchange Commission rules, and stock exchange rules. Hagerman is a member of the Council of Chief Legal Officers, the MAPI Law Council, and the Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals. He serves as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee. He also serves on the Board of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Hagerman is a graduate of Harvard Law School (cum laude) and of Drake University (summa cum laude). He studied economics and accounting and is a certified public accountant.
