He was also a partner in the law firm of Gregory, Self & Beuttenmuller and was an associate with Jenkens & Gilchrist, both of Dallas. Gregory holds a bachelor of arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a J.D. degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
