Barry M. Sando was named president of First American's Mortgage Information segment in 1997. He was formerly president of the Austin, Texas-based First American Flood Data Services from January 1997 to December 1997. Sando also served as executive vice president of First American Flood Data Services from April 1995 to January 1997. He started his career with First American Real Estate Information Services in 1991 as regional sales manager for its tax service operation. His background includes experience in loan servicing at LOMAS Mortgage, and operations at Merrill Lynch. Sando holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
