David Thomas Price is the Secretary and General Counsel of Food For The Poor, a position he has held for 15 years. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Food For The Poor of Canada, Friends of the Environment, and Abaco Pathfinders. David Price was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is married to his wife of 40 years, Eileen C. Price. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, attended Georgetown University School of Law, and holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Miami School of Law. David Price served in the Korean War as a Naval Aviator and as U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer. He is a LT. USNR Ret. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1958 and to the Supreme Court of the United States in 1965. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals. He has received the Florida Bar Association Pro Bono Award for Charitable Service. David Price and Eileen have seven children, four grandchildren and have called South Florida home for more than 50 years. They are active in St. Paul Apostle Catholic Church and David serves as an Advocate before the Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Miami. David Price and his wife Eileen are active in several charities in the Bahamas and David currently represents the Bahamas National Trust.
