Ray Uchima is a longtime real estate investor, developer, and broker who has owned, managed, and sold more than 2,000 apartment units and commercial properties across Los Angeles County and the Southeast. A value-add apartment investor and entitlement consultant, he served the City of Torrance for 11 years on the Planning Commission, including two terms as Chair, overseeing revisions to the city’s General Plan and reviewing over $1 billion in development projects. Uchima has received formal recognition from both the California State Assembly and the Torrance City Council for his public service and continues to work in real estate investment and consulting.
