Rob Katherman

Rob Katherman has served as Division 2 Director of the Water Replenishment District since 2004, bringing more than 35 years of experience as a small business owner specializing in land use planning, environmental impact analysis, and governmental and community relations. Within WRD, he chairs the Water Resources, Capital Improvement Projects, and Finance Committees, playing a central role in policy, infrastructure, and fiscal oversight. His broader civic service includes roles as a Trustee of the Palos Verdes Library District, Water Commissioner for the City of Torrance, and board member of the Los Angeles Harbor College Foundation and the Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park Advisory Board. He holds degrees in civil engineering, environmental engineering, and urban/regional planning from Cal State Long Beach.
