First elected to the Rolling Hills Estates City Council in 2013, Britt Huff previously served five years on the Planning Commission and on the city’s Environmental Advisory Committee. She has been reelected twice and served as Mayor in 2018 and 2023. Regionally, Huff has held senior leadership positions with the League of California Cities (CalCities), the California Association of Councils of Governments (CalCOG), and the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG). Her background includes extensive public service, academic teaching, and federal government roles, including work with the U.S. Departments of State, Commerce, and Energy. She holds advanced degrees in political science and systems management and has long been active in civic, educational, and community organizations.
