Jimmy Gow is a longtime Torrance resident and civic volunteer with deep family ties to the city. He has served as a three-term Chair of the Torrance Social Services Commission, where he helped shape the city’s Homelessness Plan. Gow has been involved with several local civic and community organizations, including the North Torrance Neighborhood Association, the League of Women Voters, and the Torrance Refinery Action Alliance, and participated in the development of Torrance’s current city council district map.
