Andrew Lee

Andrew Lee is an educator and healthcare director who ran for Torrance City Council representing District 2 in West Torrance. A South High School graduate with a doctorate in psychology, Lee cited long family ties to Torrance and said he entered the race to advocate for residents he felt were being overlooked. His platform focused on public safety, a comprehensive approach to homelessness that included mental health and housing, support for small businesses, and addressing infrastructure needs. Lee supported the Metro C Line extension and did not support creating an independent civilian police oversight commission, expressing confidence in existing mechanisms.
