The Inland Real Estate Group co-founder and CEO Daniel L. Goodwin died Friday January 19 2024 at the age of 80. A Chicago native, Goodwin began his career as a science teacher on the city’s West Side before venturing into real estate with colleagues Robert Baum, Joseph Cosenza, and Robert Parks. Since its establishment in 1968, Illinois-based Inland under Goodwin’s leadership grew into one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate, investment, and finance groups. In line with Inland’s succession plan, Chief Financial Officer Anthony Chereso has been appointed as the new CEO.
