Gary Chropuvka

Mr. Chropuvka is President of WorldQuant, contributing to leadership of investing activities, global business strategy and day-to-day business operations. Prior to joining WorldQuant in October 2020, he spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs and was a partner at the firm. Most recently, he was co-head of the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). Previously, he oversaw the QIS team’s customized beta, tax-efficient and alternative risk premia businesses. He was also formerly a senior portfolio manager in the QIS Equity Alpha business. Mr. Chropuvka began his career on Wall Street in 1993 in Morgan Stanley’s Correspondent Clearing Group after earning a BA in mathematics from Rutgers University. He also has a master’s in financial engineering from Columbia University and is a CFA charterholder.
