Michelle Phillips

Michelle Phillips is the only surviving member of the 1960s pop group The Mamas and Papas. 'Mama' Cass Elliot passed away due to heart failure in London at just 32 in 1974. Denny Doherty died age 66 of kidney failure in 2007. John Phillips, who Michelle divorced in 1969 after seven years of marriage, also died of heart failure aged 65 in 2001. The couple finally divorced in 1969 with their marriage marred by infidelity. They shared daughter, singer Chynna Phillips, together. Michelle also has son Austin Deveraux Hines with actor Grainger Hines and adopted Aron Wilson, who was a friend of Austin's, in the late 1980s. The iconic singer, who later transitioned into acting, was married to actor Dennis Hopper for just eight days.
