Wallace B. Cheves, Jr, is a graduate of Wofford College, Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mr. Cheves began his gaming career in 1996 by working with Collins Entertainment, one of the largest privately held gaming companies in the U.S. Mr. Cheves ventured into his own business in1998 by forming First Class Games, which grew rapidly in the Southeast and South America. In 1999, Cheves and partners created Players Club Casino, one of the first Internet gaming portals. Players Club Casino was licensed and based in Antigua. Cheves simultaneously co-founded First Link, Inc., to propel his Internet casino. The Las Vegas Law Journal has credited First Link for pioneering Internet kiosk gaming and its technology is currently used throughout the Internet sweepstakes industry. In 2002, Cheves ventured into the "Day Cruise" business and formed Palmetto Princess Casino Cruises, LLC. He legally challenged several South Carolina coastal counties in 2004 and was successful in two South Carolina Supreme Court cases, which over turned the Home Rule Act, a thirty-year-old law, and overturned local bans on Casino Boat gaming. In 2010 Cheves and team successfully worked to over turn North Charleston’s ten-year ban on Casino boats. Cheves hopes to open operations in Charleston in late 2014. Cheves and partners formed Sky Boat, LLC, and are currently working closely with the Catawba Indian Nation in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Cheves' passion for business has allowed him to invest and participate in several non-gaming joint ventures such as Music.com and Cobb Cheves Development, LLC.
