James A Bennett

Bennett is in his current position since 2015. He joined First Citizens Bank in 1994 and prior to his current role, was EVP, director of public affairs and chief diversity officer for 12 years. He served on the board of SCANA Inc. from 1997 until its merger with Dominion Energy in 2018. Expansion of Dominion's board was brought about by the resignation of William P. Barr from the board with his nomination and confirmation as U.S. Attorney General.
