Kumar Valliappan

Kumar Valliappan is a Managing Director at Metalmark Capital. Mr. Valliappan joined Metalmark in 2006 and most recently served as Principal at the firm. Prior to Metalmark, Mr. Valliappan held positions at Morgan Stanley, US Can and Berkshire Partners. Mr. Valliappan is currently a director of Camin Cargo Control, and Innovetive Petcare. He has also served as a director of Cardinal Chemicals, Hoffmaster, and Tegrant. Mr. Valliappan received a BS in Economics, magna cum lade, and an MBA with honors from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
