Jan E Tighe

Vice Admiral Jan E. Tighe, who in 2014 became the first female commander of a numbered fleet in U.S. Navy history and has extensive cybersecurity expertise, joined Goldman Sachs’ board of directors in December 2018. Tighe – who retired this year as Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare and Director of Naval Intelligence for the Navy, and served since 1980 – is currently a member of the National Security Sector Advisory Committee of The MITRE Corp. and is a member and global security expert on the strategic advisory group of Paladin Capital Group.
