Clarena Tolson

The office has direct responsibility over the major operational groups including sanitation, transportation, and water, and works closely with the Philadelphia Gas Works, PECO, SEPTA, PATCO, and other regional entities. In addition, the office develops strategies to secure funding for transportation and infrastructure projects from alternative revenue sources, such as state and federal grants. The office directs policy, planning, operations, and programmatic decision-making among agencies and departments to make sure Philadelphia has a safe transportation network and high caliber utilities.
