Jeff Rodek joined the faculty of The Ohio State University in 2007 as a part time senior lecturer in the Fisher College of Business. Prior to Hyperion’s sale to Oracle in April, 2007, Jeff was the Executive Chairman of the Board of Hyperion Solutions, Inc., the global leader in Business Performance Management software and a company named in 2004 as a Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For and listed on the Forbes 200 Best Small Companies. Rodek served as Chairman and CEO of Hyperion from October 1999 to July 2004. After the sale of Hyperion to Oracle in 2007, Rodek was a part time partner for several years with the private equity firm, Accretive LLC. Prior to Hyperion, Rodek served as President and COO of Ingram Micro, the world’s largest wholesale provider of technology solutions, products and services. Before that, Rodek spent 16 years at FedEx, beginning in Operations Research and rising to the position of Senior Vice President, Americas. Rodek serves on the boards of FactGem and PTS, where he serves as Chairman, and is on the Advisory Board for Resource Ammirati, Rodek is a member of Ohio Tech Angels and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Civil War Trust, based in Washington, DC.
