House Majority Whip-designate Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Friday announced that Hill veteran Tim Berry, now a top lobbyist at Time Warner Inc., will join his office as chief of staff. Berry has worked for the media corporation since 2006, most recently as vice president of global public policy. This move is a return to the Hill for Berry, who served as floor assistant and later as chief of staff to then-Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas).
