Kevin Buehler

Mr. Kevin J. Buehler served as the President of Alcon Laboratories, Inc., a division of Novartis from April 2011 to May 1, 2014. Mr. Buehler served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Alcon Inc., a division of Novartis from April 1, 2009 to 2011. He began his career with Alcon, Inc. in August 1984 in the Consumer Products Division as Regional Sales Manager and also served as its Division Head. During his 24-year tenure at Alan, he has developed extensive knowledge of its U.S. and International operations. In 1996, after holding a series of sales management positions with increasing responsibility in the Consumer Products Division, he expanded his experience into the pharmaceutical and surgical business areas, leading its U.S. Managed Care and Falcon Generic Pharmaceutical groups. Mr. Buehler holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with concentrations in Business Administration and Political Science. He graduated from the Harvard Program for Management Development in 1993.
