Russ Pyle

Russ Pyle is a Partner at North Bridge Growth Equity. His areas of focus include technology-enabled services, communications and software companies. Russ joined North Bridge Growth Equity in the spring of 2007. Prior to North Bridge, he invested in technology and communications companies at M/C Venture Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. Russ enjoys partnering with passionate entrepreneurs who are proud of their success but who see the opportunity to create category-defining businesses. He works closely with his portfolio companies as they add to their board and team, evaluate acquisitions, and create long term strategic plans. As a Partner at M/C Venture Partners, a $1.5 billion communications and technology focused private equity firm, he invested growth equity in the software, managed services and communications industries. Before M/C, he worked at private equity firm, TA Associates as an Associate in the technology group and at Alex. Brown & Sons as an investment banking analyst. Russ has a MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB from Princeton University. He enjoys playing golf, coaching his kids' sports teams and reading American history.
