Neil Potts

Neil Potts assists clients on a range of matters, including financial services and products, tax, and public policy and lobbying.  In addition, Mr. Potts is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono practice.  Notably, he helped to incorporate an organization founded by a prominent, Grammy Award-winning artist aimed at helping the youth of the DC metropolitan area to explore creativity and artistic expression (and to learn about opportunities and potential career advancement in the arts) as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Previously, Mr. Potts worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency as an Islamic Law Research Analyst.  His extensive military background includes experience as an Intelligence Officer with the 1st Marine Division, where he deployed with the division to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Potts also was an Intelligence Officer for the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, which conducted deployments to Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.
