In his most recent role, Patrick acted as a lead research analyst in the financial institutions’ group at SNL Financial LLC, specializing in financial analytics, demographics, and mergers and acquisitions. Patrick assisted top-level institutional clients in building models and recommending best methods for obtaining and organizing data. In addition, Patrick authored multiple financial/economic research reports, led industry-focused webinars and managed several high-level research publications. Patrick began his career at CFA Institute where he served as a company liaison to CFA Charterholders, candidates and members. He frequently exhibited at industry conferences throughout North America, speaking with clients and promoting financial education. Long considered to be the “gold standard” in financial education, CFA Institute attracted Patrick for its promotion of ethics, integrity and professional excellence. A graduate of James Madison University, Patrick majored in both Finance & International business and minored in both Economics & Spanish.
