Charles Alden Black Jr

Charlie is a third-generation San Franciscan who grew up on the Peninsula. He has been a City resident and homeowner for thirteen years, this after returning from a fifteen-year stint on the East Coast. Spent mostly in Washington, D.C., that period included service at the Commerce and State Departments as well as in the Executive Office of the President. Beginning in 1972 and bracketing his government service, Charlie has represented U.S. and foreign clients in international business activities. Charlie received a B.S. in Political Science from Santa Clara University in 1976, and pursued further studies at the Monterey Institute of Foreign Studies, M.I.T./Harvard Law and Tufts University´s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
