Joshua Newman is an investment analyst at Sonen Capital LLC, where he conducts manager research and due diligence, portfolio analysis, and assists with portfolio management duties. Previously, Josh worked with REDF, a financial intermediary focused on social enterprise, to structure a social impact bond supporting workforce development and recidivism reduction. He is currently conducting financial and impact portfolio analysis for the KL Felicitas Foundation. Prior to joining Sonen, Josh worked in the Strategic & Sustainability Planning division of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, where he researched and reported on sustainability performance across the utility's six enterprises. Josh is a cofounder at Climate Action Capital, a consultancy developed to assist municipalities that are seeking to finance sustainable development initiatives. Josh earned a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and an M.P.A. from Presidio Graduate School.
