Jay Dodd, a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President based at the firm’s Fayetteville, NC office, is a leader in the firm’s Army business primarily focused on the operations portfolio. Mr. Dodd serves clients in the Army’s major organizations that are responsible for generating, supporting, and employing current (and future) trained and ready landpower forces (TRADOC, FORSCOM, ASCCs, NGB/ARNG, PEO STRI, ATEC). Additionally, Mr. Dodd leads the firm’s Army human capital and installation management work. Mr. Dodd is an instructor for the firm’s Change Management Advanced Practitioners’ Course, a joint venture with Booz Allen and Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dodd served as an Army Officer for 24 years, rising to the rank of Colonel. He was an Infantry officer with a secondary career field in resource management that culminated with service as a Separated Infantry Brigade Commander followed by becoming a Division Chief in J8 (Resource Management), the Joint Staff. After his military career, Mr. Dodd joined Arthur Andersen where he was a Senior Manager in its government practice. He holds graduate degrees from Syracuse University and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF) in business and resource management, and he has an undergraduate degree in general studies from the US Military Academy. Mr. Dodd is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). While attending ICAF, r. Dodd won the Association of the United States Army’s writing award with his research project, The Chief Financial Officer’s Act of 1990, Conserving Resources for Readiness and National Security Through Better Financial Management.
