He is also a director and executive officer of Avondale Mills, Inc., a former textile manufacturer and wholly-owned subsidiary of Avondale Incorporated. Avondale has ceased its textile operations following a train derailment that destroyed its manufacturing facilities, is selling all of its assets and is pursuing claims against Norfolk Southern Corporation relating to the derailment.
