Military & police equipment, formerly owned by Armor Holdings, Inc. & BAE Systems; Headquarters: Jacksonville, FL. Tagline: "Together, We Save Lives" Safariland is owned by Warren B Kanders. According to a 2019 Financial Times story, Safariland is a remnant of Armor Holdings, a supplier to the US military which Mr Kanders began building five years before the September 11 attacks and sold to BAe for $4.1bn in 2007. He bought back its law enforcement supply business in 2012 for $124m.
