A holding company established in the UK in 2017 by former directors of Cambridge Analytica (CA) and members of the Mercer family; the company acquired most firms recently created as a result of the "unwinding" of CA and the SCL group, its parent company. The executive teams and financiers are essentially a repeat of the CA cast, and the new company actively seeks to impede the legal procedings related to the bankruptcy of CA and SCL and the various lawsuits filed against these. Emerdata claims that it doesn't have access to any of the data held by Cambridge Analytica.
