Berry Plastics Group, Inc.

Founded in 1967, Berry Plastics, of Evansville, Indiana, manufactures injection-molded plastic products: containers, aerosol overcaps, closures, drink cups and housewares for the commercial and consumer markets. Berry owns 62 manufacturing facilities worldwide. In June 2006, Berry announced that private equity firms Apollo Management and Graham Partners joined with senior management to acquire the company. In April 2007, Berry Plastics merged with another Apollo holding, Covalence Specialty Materials, under the Berry Plastics name.
