James Chu founded ViewSonic in 1987 as Keypoint Technology. For the first ten years, the company primarily focused on selling CRT monitors to businesses. Today, the company is a well-known provider of computer LCD monitors, LCD TVs, projectors and peripherals, as well as advanced mobile and wireless products, such as ruggedized PDAs and wireless displays.
