Golub Corp. owns and operates 116 Price Chopper supermarkets in six states—Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont. Brothers William and Bernard Golub founded the company in 1932 when they opened the first self-service supermarket in upstate New York.
