Personalized, Competency-Based Learning KnowledgeWorksLogoThe Personalized, Competency-Based Learning (PCBL) Initiative, led by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and supported by KnowledgeWorks, will serve as an incubator for PCBL in North Dakota. Following the application process for the NDPCBL Initiative, five (5) school districts will be selected to receive an Opportunity Analysis from KnowledgeWorks. Upon completion of the Opportunity Analysis and contingent upon secured funding these school districts receive guidance, personalized coaching and technical support to pursue their journey to transform their school district from traditional to personalized, competency-based learning. The size or demographic of the school district does not matter. What does matter is a vision aligned to PCBL and a deep desire, commitment, and passion for equity. Application School districts wishing to participate in NDPCBL are welcome to submit an application. Districts must confirm their intent to apply before March 9, 2018 (Application Part D) with the completed application package due by March 23, 2018 (Application Parts A, B, C, E, F).
